Browns QB Brandon Weeden joined "The Really Big Show" with Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the recent workouts and how he is preparing for the 2013 season.
Do you feel a lot of pressure going into your second season with your job on the line?
I don't look at it as a make or break. I look at it as an opportunity to get better, to go out and try to lead the football team and win games. I'm not putting the pressure on myself that if I don't perform, something is going to happen. I'm going to go out and play football like I've always done and try to be better than I was last year...I have to play better. That's about as simple as it gets. Pressure? There is no pressure. My pressure is on myself. I put enough of that on myself to play well week in a week out. I've got a job of one of 32 in the world. You put that in perspective, I'm very blessed to be in position.
I saw you were tweeting during the NBA game last night. How do you interact with your fans on twitter?
I've got one for you here. July 19th, when I report to camp, twitter is gone...I won't get on it one time from July 19th through our last game. There are too many smart people out there that think they know it all.
What did you think when you heard about Josh Gordon's suspension?
"It's an unfortunate situation. If there is a positive, it's that it's only two games and we'll find somebody to come in a take his spot. When he comes back in week three, he'll help us try to win football games. He's come a long way. He's grown as a player. Josh is one of my favorite guys."
