Show Recap--February 21st

Feb 22, 2012 -- 2:37am

We presented a combo platter of KNR Overtime/Cleveland SportsNight on Tuesday evening.

Kenny Roda chatted with Oliver Luck, the father of presumptive NFL #1 draft pick Andrew Luck, and also the Athletic Director at West Virginia.  In the just over 20 minute conversation, the guys touched on a variety of subjects including:  Andrew's preparations for the combine and draft, Oliver's memories playing at St. Ignatius, plus his thoughts on the changing landscape of college football...including his belief that the NCAA needs to adopt the 'Plus One' playoff system.  Listen here»

But in addition, we talked a lot of Cavaliers as the Wine-and-Gold rallied behind rookie Kyrie Irving to defeat the Pistons.   Irving hit the clutch free throws to win Sunday's game with Sacramento, but was largely outplayed by fellow rookie Isaiah Thomas.  The Road Man conducted a one-on-one interview with Cavs Head Coach Byron Scott about what was said to Kyrie after the Kings game.  Listen»

And just for good measure...Kenny talked with Kyrie Irving right after his chat with the Coach!  Listen»

The Road Man will return with KNR Overtime on Wednesday, following the Cavaliers-Hornets game on ESPN 850 WKNR!
